Looks like awesome weather for tomorrow. Anybody know if child seats are allowed to stay in the car (properly secured with the OE belt through the seat and buckled)? I'm feeling lazy, but excited to give the new car a proper workout.

My daughter would 100% ride if they would let her. She always wants to go faster. Hates top down in the Z4 but can't get enough of the Exocet ("Daddy's race car!").

My girls would love to experience a flying lap. On the street my youngest always calls me out if I make the tires talk as if I were doing something wrong, yet finds it hilarious in the up and down bits when her "tummy feels funny". On a parade lap I took them on once my oldest kept saying the cars needed to go faster or get off because race tracks are for driving fast.

I propose a new challenge for next year: fastest lap with your spouse or significant other in the car (lap is disqualified if they throw up). Stu and Eric both have a good shot, myself...not so much.

Funny thing is Katie gets mild motion sickness as a passenger, though usually not on track. Drives me nuts because we frequently drive on some great roads...she can drive as fast as she wants, though I have to tone it down so she doesn't feel sick. I'd be up for that though. How about lowest sum of fastest laps for each couple?

Fastest lap I've turned with April in the car is a 40.2 at AMP and a 51.0 at RA.

I'm not speaking for James, but my guess is it's fine, because other people run roof racks on their car at the track. My buddy also didn't pass the brookstick test. Oops!

Real challenge would be to get one/both parents into the car for flying laps. I know my Dad wouldn't fit in the car, and Mom wouldn't get within 20ft of it unless there is no other choice.

Funny you mention that. My dad actually did a track day today at palm beach international in his m2, and my mom rode along. She won't drive, though she did get in the miata with me at AMP early this year or last year.

Rick's dad is at most JZilla days driving as well.
