Nothing falling from the sky here. Not even since I woke up.

Well, according to lastnight, the rain was long gone and the skies were clearing....until the phantom rain ghost came out of nowhere this morning  I still can't belive how much a tire can absolutly SUCK in the rain when it costs so much (Toyo FZ4..... it's like driving on ice even at full tread depth)

They may need some time to wear in properly. Everyone and every review I've seen have given them pretty good results in the rain...
Or maybe it's just operator error...In The Garage:

If they are new, then the tires will need to shed their mold release and will be greasy until they do so. Also remember that wide tires on a light car will be much more likely to come out in the rain. My current tires are pretty decent in the rain, but I make it a habit to stay under atmo pressure.
I would not want Azenis in the rain. There are a couple cars around here that demonstrate why.DIYAutoTune.com

Or the fact that the compound is that hard. Hydroplaning resistisance might be good, but they have no lateral grip whatsoever and the sidewalls are about has stiff as a wet paper bag  I'll end up getting better tires and selling these.
