Go onto everyone's favorite car auction site, count how many of the cars currently for sale you have previously owned, or currently own. If you've owned six miatas, that only counts as one. Must be same generation of car so having owned a 88' RX7 doesn't match a 93', and so forth. My score today: a 6!!

I got 9! Dave - did you count the multiple E36 M3s as 1? I counted them individually.

I only counted the M3 as one. Obviously some days or weeks will be better or worse, but I think it's fair to say, we have a lot of pretty hardcore car guys on here. I recently saw a Morgan 3 wheeler and a CTS-V listed the same day and thought of Lance. I saw the recent Supra Turbo sale and thought of Nick. Bill's been serially collecting for decades, and a whole bunch of guys started out in British cars like MG's and Sprites. Pretty much on any given day there are a dozen cars I'm fantasizing about buying and driving home, and a half dozen that make me wish I'd held onto something a bit longer. I know BAT auctions are a terrible gauge of what a particular car is "worth", but I do find it damned entertaining ��
