I hate this movie series with a passion. This is what gave the import scene a bad rep.

But........we all know we're going to watch it at some point in time whether you want to admit it or not. :)

i agree most of us will watch it even if you dont like the series. But when is the last time a really good car movie came out that wasnt chessey in all or atleast in several parts. if nothing else you get to see nice cars that look good even if they are no where near as fast as they want you to think they are. just my two cents.

^^ Gone in 60 Secs wasn't so bad. The only part that was obviously fake was the ending when he ramped off the ambulance.

I agree though, it's hard to find a GOOD car movie. :(

The original Gone In 60 Seconds has some great stunts in it...although the movie is corny.
That and Bullit were movies where people did real driving at speed and filmed it...instead of using CGI and speeding up film etc etc The behind the scenes footage from the original "Gone..." and the story about how the Bullit Mustang was a turd that couldnt keep up with the stock Charger RT until HIGHLY modified are very interesting too.
I consider both those movies to be must have classics for the car guy...or gal. :)

I dunno how many people on here have seen the original Italian Job...but that could be called a car movie. The real-life jump of the 3 Mini's from rooftop to rooftop was pretty badass.

Ronin has some pretty badass chase scenes as well.

I'll go ahead and admit I've watched the first and third F&F movies more than once. The second one was complete ****e. But if it's a car movie with the slightest amount of production value (for a bad example, see Redline), I'll watch it.
