Temporarily Closing Registrations - Dealing with Spam

I've had to temporarily turn off new registrations as the spam problem is ridiculous. I've opened a ticket with vbulletin asking for some more support as this is a cloud hosted service by them now.

There will be a mass deletion of all spam posts soon - again a feature that vbulletin decided to turn off in their wisdom.

Hopefully we'll be back up and running soon. Apologies for the inconvenience.

  • Should I Re-Paint My Car..

I am seriously debating painting my car like the Peugeot Le Mans car LMFAO.

    With FAP and everything.

Should I for kicks? Or should I paint my new circle track Miata like it with a French flag and all? That might be the better one actually, I am literally thinking while typing thinking out loud for you all to throw options in.

I think something like the Porsche 917

or the old BASF cars....if you really want to hurt people's eyes..
(tell me if this pic shows up..i'm posting it from behind a firewall and can't see it)

Yeah they work, those would be cool too. I'm just an insane Peugeot fan lol.

That 917 paint job is tempting though...lol

i voted circle track, but i think this is the paintjob we need

either that, or the most euro-trash, anti redneck paintjob you can think of. lets paint in plaid.

Roller job again? Might be a challenge, but would probably look cool.

as for Peugeot, I like the 905...my next one would be the 908 in blac/red/white

Unfortunatly the scheme follows the body lines of the car, so applying it to a flatter surface might result in such a distortion that it becomes unrecognizable.

Paint it up like an ambulance...but put wambulance on the side instead
Pictures of said car would circulate the internet in forums like wildfire hehehe (this being a seriously funny comment, not a insult).

Yeah, naw it'd be pretty easy though, I use foam brushes. Just tape off the shapes and take your time. I think it could be done easily with time and patience.

I like the E30 paintjob for circle track, but we need it worse, like French sponsors, rednecks hate French people.

                Yes, you should re-paint it!
                My vote...
                ChalkBoard spraypaint!
(I had this idea long before the 2007 Challenge guys did it!)
Then, you can "re-chalk" it whatever scheme you want...until it rains.

True I would have to adjust it to be right on a Miata but I think I could change it around so people easily recognize what it is.

^^ true, but it might be kinda cool to take the colors and BASIC design of a paintjob and adapt it to a different car, sorta like a throwback/tribute paintjob.

the idea here is to paint it in preparation for running at lanier speedway. dont ask, but simon and i talked about it last night and i think it should be tons of fun if i get to drive it lol.

lol works for me. i say if you get that parts car, we turn that into an extremely disgusting track *****. like, circle track, autocross, RALLYCROSS, dirt ovals, etc. ANY type of racing.
