  • makes me want my 240 again

I just saw this video, and it makes me want my 240 back, or be different like the guys in the video with the huge sedans and larger coupe cars . or just go full drift with the miata. anyways on with the video, some different cars drifting in there too, see if you can spot them ;)

This is "Ebisu: The Soul of Drift" by The SpeedHunters on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

yes. i have been considering it. i recently did the blastpipes or victory pipes as some call them, they are a blast and loud. judging by your sig. and the full cage you slide yours? doesnt help that ive also seen you on roadster drift .com

yep, all drift all the time. I've never been to a track day though, i bet they're a lot of fun too. But drifting is just way too much fun to think about spending the money to go to a different event.

yeah, ive never done a trackday either, but i do go drifting alot, i may not be super good at it but i can get some dope ones when i can get it to slide right, i just need to invest in a nice differential really. any suggestions? i was looking at a few different ones

well, as someone who doesn't own coilovers yet,
            1. get coilovers
but also if you have an open diff or vlsd it's gonna be kind of a pain in the *** to hold a drift, you usually have to initiate with the handbrake. Hell, I have a torsen, and its twice as hard to lock it up on a left turn than a right for some reason. If you already have the 1.8 rear end setup, the next step is a kaaz 1.5 way diff. I hear these are so awesome it almost gives an unfair advantage.

But really, coilovers are good (stance is best). I still threw it around last season on my stock suspension; it made it easier that I had a cage. I'm getting coils asap. and a clutch, my new itb power and agressive driving is making short order out of my stock clutch.

Miatas are fun cars, and even more fun as drift cars. You have to drive the piss out of them, but man its fun.

well i have the stances already, and loving them, and im on a open diff. its a pain in the *** to hold one going left, but a lot easier to "lock" the diff going right. trust me. i drive the piss out of my car. ons time it pissed onto a curb.

so if they have a kaaz 1.5 way for the 1.6 stock open diff its worth doing?

That video just made me want to live in Japan more than anything! You guys should post in the motorsports section if you want to talk drift. :)

Ahh drifting. I use to be obsessed with it before it hit mainstream. Use to do it all the time, crashed, destroyed my car, etc. lol. But then I did a couple of track events again and remembered how lame drifting is compared to real driving lol.
