Air Bag light

Need some advise guys. 92 Na air bag light is blinking.....10 times then 2 second delay then blinks 10 times again. According to all I can find on the net it is code 10 and is a faulty diagnostic module ( System-down fuse burned) which is supposed to be located just above the driver's footwell. Some say the fuse could be blown because of shorted D sensors.. First what the heck is a d sensor and secondly should I just replace the sensor under the driver's footwell and hope for the best??? Also if anyone has one of those sensors, let me know and how much it shoud be. Thanks, Legend.

10 blinks means dead airbag computer. you need a new one if you want the airbag to be able to function. even with the new computer there's still a chance that a 15 year old airbag system won't fire. your call.

I just want the stupid light to go off. Any idea how much the airbag computer is used and how hard to install? Thanks

unplug the airbag computer and the light will not come back on
new computer is like $200

that works for any light you dont like also........like a check engine light.

Mine's on constantly. I unplugged the module and disconnected the buzzer. Way less annoying than to have it flashing haha

I don't have a light? In my 90? Idk. I do have a buzzer though.

Mine had the same code 10. The problem would come & go. I fixed it by resealing the windshield. Apparently the previous owner had a windshield installed & they did a piss-poor job.

pull out the light, wrap with black tape & more black tape... done as well. lol

The correct method on your car is to reach up under the dash, unplug the two blue boxes that reside just above your steering column. One is the airbag computer, other is battery.
Then pull your gauge cluster and remove airbag light bulb.

Your airbag is then disabled and there will be no lights or buzzers.

Thanks, I pulled the light bulb....then just got the anoying buzzer...put the bulb back in and am back where I was. I was a little nervous about unpluging the module and until I saw the last post. I was thinkng about the post above for the black tape...very high tech. Appreciate all of the good feedback from you all on here. This car and this site has been a real pleasure to be around. Thanks. Man up and unplug the ***** and be done.
If you're nervous, disconnect the battery and turn on teh headlamp switch first, then unplug the computer. Turn off lamps and connect battery. ?????? Profit.

like others said veryunlikely the 18year bag will work. i am still thinking about pulling it out to aviod what might happen if it does and when.
