          I'm currently co-driving my friend's '06 MX-5 in CSP (#96), but I have a '92 that I'm hoping to get built for STS2 by next season.

We're always there. The night events have been a blast and a nice break from the awful weather that plagued the morning events earlier in the season. Only downside is not being able to take may pics but I got a few good ones at the first night event a while back.

The biggest drawback of the ALMS one's are the location for me. I don't like how long it takes to get there and the amount of time in between runs due to the go-karts and etc. But having said that, when one finally does get to run... it's hard to beat.

Yeah.. it's really, really far and as much as I am supportive of the young drivers, it's absolutely painful to wait for them sometimes. It's not bad when there are just a couple but when they all show up... ouch. Last even they posted the rule of no sharing equipment like helmets and suits so hopefully that will change the wait time some. I think it's great to see them out there though.

They also need to ditch the go karts, they have their own places to run those things.

I think it's great they're given the chance. I wish I was. But regardless, I swear there are plenty of kart specific events out there, I'm fairly sure that all the people who made their name karting didn't do it at autox. I just think it's unfair on everyone else it leaves waiting.

                          RE: Atlanta Region SCCA Schedule

There was a big discussion on soloatlanta about this and the carts aren't going anywhere but I think they really are trying to make the runs move faster. Maybe they could run the carts first and get it out of the way or something. I mean, the SCCA says they are allowed and the parents are really into it as are the kids so those us us left waiting really don't have anything we can do other than hope that the regional directors can make it more efficient.

its mainly a problem at the night events, during normal events most of us have already run in the morning, but running them all at the start and no sharing of equipment will keep it moving, we had alot of delays due to timing at the last event with karts, so it wasnt just them spinning out and stalling etc etc
