Atlanta Region SCCA Site News for 2018

We're at Atlanta Motor Speedway all year! The full schedule to come out soon, but it'll include at least 1 School, 10 points events and our Championship event.

If you've been running with us this year, you know the challenges (size, course surrounded by a Faraday cage...) we've faced with it.

If you're curious just HOW much better the site situation will be next year, feast your eyes:



It's a bit more of a drive for a lot of us, but damn it's gonna be good to be back at a proper site :D

Very excited for this. Is there any chance that some of the novice schools can also be used for tnt as well? I will probably be out of town for the February events.

Also, any evo schools outside starting line? I may do starting line just for a new helmet, but I haven't seen a phase 2+ in a long time. Maybe try to get a challenge school? Is Solo Pro school still around? I know it's pretty much same as evo, but again... a challenge school would be cool, as something phase 2+ from evo.

TBD at this time RE the schools, but I wouldn't be surprised. We didn't have the space to run schools (especially not the bigger schools like Evo and Starting Line) at Lanier.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see a few TNT added as well.

Congrats on the site! My parents live about 15 minutes from there so I'll probably end up at an event or two. We're still struggling to find a good site in Alabama region. We recently did an event at the ARCA paddock at Talladega Super Speedway. It isn't very big but the surface was great so I think we'll end up with more events there.
