  • NA Rollbar Pics

Hey guys as some of you may know im currently in the market for a rollbar for my 91 NA, and im not sure what bar i want, and none of the retailers have good pics of the cars with the bars on them. So I thought it would be good to have a thread for good pics of cars with the rollbars in them. Im looking forward to see what my options look like in decent pictures. Thanks guys.

Add NB pics too - I've been looking for a good sturdy RB for over a year now hoping to find someone upgrading or parting out, whatever...

Cannot help on the NB front but here's what I can find of my Hard Core Hard Top Double Diagonal with Harness Bar:

And after I trimmed the boot to fit around the bar:

I don't have any absolute side profile shots, so this will have to do for now.

Hard Core M2 double diagonal, NON hardtop. A little taller than the hardtop version and placed further forward. I think it makes the car look a little more balanced.

If you look in my journal thread, you'll find pics of the Boss Frog Double Maxx. I also had the Hard Dog Hard Core M2 Double Diagonal Hard Top aka HDHCDDHT. I like both of them. The Boss Frog is technically stronger and makes the cars chassis even stiffer than the Hard Dog.

Hmm... So what's involved in making your hardtop fit with the bar?

It fits over the bar, but I shouldn't be able to use the side strikers. I kinda made them work. The bar is gouged from where the side latches rub against it. I can't use the frankenstein bolts on the back cause one, the latches are screwed, and two, I came out to the car one day and they were gone >_<

Ya, imm leaning more and more toward teh hard core hard top double diagonal everyday. Its a nice looking bar.

I would buy a boss frog, but im on a budget.

I removed the side latches and it fits over mine.

I hafta use the side latches. The back latches are messed up and missing the frankenstein bolts.

How can you visually tell the difference in the BF standard dbl hoop and dbl maxx?
