I bought my car February 1 of this year, and my sister bought this 6 the next day. The best thing is they are both paid for fully, and it confused the neighbors so bad seeing us get two new(er) cars.
Welcome to the forum! Nice "M", even if it is autotragic. Be sure to introduce yourself in the thread Doppelganger linked!
I'll help you out with the biggest chunk of the swap to a manual, the transmission. I'm selling mine, has 90k miles and is in perfect shape, for $100. :D I have a 6-speed now. And the overall swap is not that hard, just a bunch of little stuff.

Congratulations on the purchase, I think I saw that car for sale and it was most definitely a bargain! Not many feelings better than owning a new car :)
It's not that bad... I wouldn't make it a Tech Day project though unless you were certain you had every part needed and had a committed team of helpers.
