  • 01 headlamps on stock 99 front end

Fairly simple procedure. They fit a lot better than I expected with the stock front bumper. Too dark to get good pictures though. :o

Looks awesome! Was there any modification involved? Trimming the bumper to fit? I'd love to do that to replace my fogged up stockies.

Hard to see the lights, but the car looks great! That color is dope.

That looks ten times better. If I owned an NB I would definitely go about doing this if I didn't feel like dropping the change on the msm lights.

^^ 01s have projectors and 99s are just halogen bulbs

No trimming. Really not much to it, other than just forcing things to fit. The 01 bumper is a bit different than the 99 bumper, so fitment isn't perfect, but I don't think anyone who was not a miata-file would ever notice that the lamps are not original. I highlited the areas that are imperfect in yellow.

**If you're running halogen lamps, you'll need to add a relay for the high beams. There is not enough juice in the stock wiring to illuminate halogen high and halogen low simultaneously. I'm going to run HID low and suspect that no relay will be necessary since they draw less than half the current as halogen.

Ahh, Mike just wanted to see what our cars would look like with each others' wheels. Yes please, let's get with Kris and get some tails swapped.

                      :WOOT: !!1!one!

Today I got this lip and splitter

Anyone who's seen Sawyer's car (she has same set up) knows how baller it looks. I am a front bumper cover and a pass side headlamp assembly away from MSM front end swap.
