  • A HUGE thanks to Eric, Ben, and Sean (and others)!!!

Almost 5am and the last of the team that helped me finish my turbo build just left. A HUGE shout out is in order for Eric (Rotornut), Sean (Wonton), and Ben for lending their time, patience, and know how to get my car up and running.

Also, thanks to everyone else that came out - Mike & Jen, Steve and Laurabeth, etc - for hanging out and having a good time. It was nice to meet everyone...looking forward to our next meet.

This was a great example of people from MX5Atlanta pulling together to help out. It's good to be a part of a cool group of folks here. For all those that turned wrenches tonight, I owe you! Let me know how and when I can return the favor.

Me too! Thank you to Ben for coming out so late!

Moral of this story, always check the small things. And make sure you eat sometime during the day too. :D

I can't wait for your next project Nick. Garage conversion FTW!

So how well did you get it tuned? Are you able to get a decent run through the gears at 12psi yet? :D

I had a ton of fun myself too, glad to meet you Nick! I'm sure I could have been stuck under the hood too, but I need not make the situation "too many cooks in the kitchen" lol

^^ I agree. Usually I'm more then willing to help but it appeared that Eric and Sean had it all under control. :)

Haha! Me with my migraine attempting to help. I recalled that the harness was unplugged, figured I did my last duty for the day, and called it quits. I can tell you we busted some serious *** before the meet to get it that far.

When I talked to Nick on Sunday, he was still messing with it, but still untuned. He was just happy as hell to be boosting 5psi. I do know that he was supposed to datalog and send it to FM to let them make the tuning map pretty.

We left his place at 1:45 so I think I got home around 2:30?
But seriously, when's the last time I was home on time!
