  • Clutch Replacement

Hey guys, so my clutch makes some rough grinding/groaning sound when I depress the pedal, and from my searching, it spunds like the pilot bearing is headed out. I'm at 100k miles on the original clutch, so I figured I may as well change that out too. I've dony my timing belt and water pump, but I really don't have the time to learn how to change it all right now.

What shops do you recommend, and what pricing do you figure for a stock grade replacement? I'm around the Canton/Woodstock area, can be in Roswell, Marietta, or Midtown readily (moving to Ga Tech this weekend, hence the time avilability restriction).

Mike at Track Minded Performance is off of Jamerson right near 92. He does good work.

Word and he's got a special going right now on clutch jobs. You won't find a better deal.

I had mine done at Rspeed- No issues, and they had it done within 8hrs.

I'll add miata afterworld to the list. This is such an awesome area to live in terms of miata stuff.

Another recommendation for RSpeed, almost said in Marietta, but now in Smyrna.

How much do these places charge for a clutch replacement?

I wanna say Rspeed was $3-400, but this was over a year ago so I could be confusing it with something else. You can always just call them up and ask.
