Mostly they make cheap junkie ebay tops.
A better choice would be Cabrioworld or AA Best, or if you
really want a premium top Electron.

The AA Best has mixed reviews on miata.net -- I was just reading them.

Just go with a Robbins. Not the cheapest, but certainly one of the best out there.

I wouldn't be worried so much about the material as I would about the fitment.

Ask wildfire about his top. I musta fiddled with that thing for hours and it still didn't come out right.

yea wasn't the best fitment but all in all I am happy with it.

I will agree a robins would be a better choice but what I have is great for a budget but I do have a few spots where the fit ment is off enough to see from about 3' away.

i cant get their prices without being "authorized", but ive learned thus far to stay away from the $300.oo ebay tops.

Just ot throw out another opinion... A robins was put on my car when I bought it from carmax 8 years ago. All the bow sleeves have come unglued, it has developed a few thin spots and 2 holes from where it folds and the color has faded a good bit (the car has been garaged or covered for the majority of the time that I've had it. I'm not sure I'll get another robins top...

Every Robbins top I have ever owned has come apart in the same manner.
I inherited a new Robbins top recently, we'll see how that one goes.
But for me, I'd likely avoid Robbins as well. I'd go with a Stayfast cloth
with zippered glass window from AA Best, or the same from Cabrioworld.

so im under the impression nothing is equal to OEM quality tops lol
at the moment i have the cloth version (with black duct-tape patching) ha
i think i want to try vinyl, alot easier to clean
