Looking at the front bumper cover, especially the lower lip. Unit is priced "OK", not super cheap, not expensive. Worth investigating? Too screwed up? Sorry this is the only pic I have to go by. I am expecting to paint it blue to match my car and am trying to look at it realistically as a piece that will need painting.

I'm sure Tom will sell you the trans for about $850 & diff swap for $1000-1100...or so.

lol yeah not my car, only looking at parts. :)don't know how deep the scratches are unfortunately. might just be in the paint, might not be I dunnoooo. tom has promised to getme better pics and details as soon as he can. if anyone else needs big stuff like the trans I'm planning on driving to parts group so we could work out pickup or carpool.

I would be looking to see for amount of scratches and if the scratches are deep grooves in the plastic or just paint related. I would expect $300-400 for prep & paint.

Lets have a MX5ATL buy of the whole car, chop the windhsield, one piece fiberglass front end and fenders, cage, run it in SPU.

Fixing semi-flexible plastic bits is always tougher than rigid pieces. You always end up with a more fragile part due to the necessary fillers, etc. That said, the knicks and scratches don't look too bad. If the price were right...
