  • Spare Tire Relocation kit

okay so my damper adjustment knobs are in the way of the spare tire..

ive seen a kit to relocate it closer to the center of the trunk, but i DO NOT want to mount it under the car. because 1 its not a truck, and 2 it will be in the way of the up and coming exhaust bits

sooooo, has anyone seen this kit online anywhere? i have considered making one myself, but i dont have the needed supplies.

    thanks,
    Derek

like, the spare doesn't fit in because the knobs are there? How big are the friggin knobs!?

like it doesnt fit because the knobs come up too high and wont let the spare move all the way back into its original location. i have it ghetto rigged in there, but i dont want it to come loose and break my knob lol then id

The Beatrush rear strut tower brace came with a spare tire relocation bracket. I used mine to mount my methanol injection tank. RSpeed had one for sale not too long ago and I don't think it sold.

It's a very simple design. I can take some pictures if you'd like.

yeah man! thatd be great! i found a site that sold the rear strut bar and relocator as a pair, but now they only sell the bar. they had a picture of it up, but not a good one. so any thing like top and side view would be good. ill need some measurements of the length, and the height, and where the hols are located if you dont mind :)

I will try to remember to do it the next time I'm at the car. I don't keep it where I live.

its cool man, take your time im not in a rush.

id just like to have it safely relocated instead of lining up the lug hole over the bolt hole that the bolt goes into, and tightend it down as tight as possible lol

Take it out and pick up a can of that goo that fills up punctures. It's what AMG does
