  • ND Sway Bar Installation

Hi folks. I'm a first time MX-5 owner. I bought a used 2019 RF in February. After a half a dozen runs in the mountains, I'm starting to get the hang of it. It's a daily driver and still under warranty so I don't want to go too crazy on it yet. It's got a new set of Michelin AS/3+'s on it, and a Goodwin Racing exhaust but otherwise bone stock.

Anyhow, I've heard a few times that a good early mod to start with is sway bars. It makes sense to me, as I don't find the turn-in terribly confidence inspiring until the suspension loads up. I was looking at the kit from FM. (https://www.flyinmiata.com/nd-flyin-...sway-bars.html)

Looking at the installation videos, it looks like quite a process to install the front. I could probably handle it myself, but if there's a shop out there that has already done it, and will do it for a halfway reasonable price, I'd lean toward that route.

So, does anyone know a shop experienced in swapping sway bars in ND's?

    Thanks in advance.

Rspeed and Miata Afterworld are all good places to go to. If you opt to do it yourself, Flyin Miata has a great walkthrough video to help.
