Well this happened about 15 miles from tail of the dragon on the way home.

Looks like the tie rod stripped out of the rack, so I'm getting a rack from Alex and two new tie rods. I figure since I'm pulling the rack I should replace the bushings, so far I haven't's been able to find any but OEM rubber ones, is there a polyurethane option?

That's pretty good as I didn't think they had those for PS racks.

Happy for you that this happened on the way home instead of just before you went over the side of the dragon!

If you are lowered and experience bumpsteer, it's a good time to consider these too.

Those Superpro rack bushings are very good. I installed a pair in mine in '09 and they add a little extra quickness in steering feel.

Apropos of nothing, I just received both a set of SuperPro rack bushings and 1/2" bumpsteer correction blocks in the mail yesterday. Looking forward to getting them on the car.

I was pleased with the bumpsteer spacers' effect on the handling in day-to-day driving.

I'm stock height, may go a half inch lower in the future, but nothing too crazy

If your steering arms aren't angled upwards, you're good.

                        I don't believe so, thanks
