  • Miata + Motus V4

Saw a Motus motorcycle at C&O this weekend. Never seen one before and the V4 engine caught my eye:

    Just listen to it....

And it's already been put in a car. Here's the engine is in a '58 F1 Ferrari replica:

Oh yes. I like it! David, there's a Motus dealer in Buford. I think we need to get you up there. :D

That would be an interesting Miata engine swap. I wonder what it weighs.

that pretty damn sweet but my god with the cost of the engine. for weight and power im still longingly wanting to drop a 13b in a Miata.

No different than any other motorcycle.

V4 in Honda VFR motorcycles, Aprilia RSV4, and the Yamaha (star) VMax. Willing to bet the VMax engine is significantly cheaper than the Motus.
Car is being parted out! :baller:

No doubt they are cheaper. The Motus is big money.

Setting $ aside, the crank orientation of this motor like that of the Goldwing, Motoguzzi, or BMW K series would greatly simplify a rwd car installation. And this thing sounds cool!
