It’s time to sell the Miata. I do not want to sell but I have other projects that I need to get to. This car has been loved as far back as I can tell. It’s been in a garage since I have had it and the previous owner garaged it as well. This car has been a regular at autocrosses and track days and it’s well tuned for going fast.
The car drives like it’s on rails and is the perfect for using as a track toy or driving on mountain roads. I’ve worked the suspension over as much as possible and replaced every part that needed attention. We’ve also tuned it as well as possible.
The engine pulls hard right up to redline, the oil pressure is good, etc. It is 20 years old and it does need to have the oil topped up between oil changes. I would not hesitate to drive this any distance and had the same response from the previous owner who verified that it is mechanically sound. The suspension is still solid, no blown shocks and really does handle better than anything I have ever driven. The car passed emissions this year which should be the last time it’s needed in the state of GA.
The interior is in good shape considering its age, but it does show wear and tear. The exterior is the same, its 25 years old, has some dents, paint is faded in areas, etc, but it still gets compliments from everyone who can’t believe its 25 years old. The soft top is not in great shape, it has a cracked window and pin holes in the top but it keeps water out and is functional.
Things that Don’t work:
The auto off turn signals don’t work right.
With the aftermarket steering wheel there is no horn or airbag
The trim panel below the steering wheel is missing
There is no spare wheel
Extra goodies:
5x 205/50R15 BFG Rival tires
Stock seats
Stock shifter knob
Stock steering wheel with working airbag
2x rear sway bars for tuning (I use one for autoX and 1 for track days)
If you have any questions feel free to call me and I will gladly tell you anything you want to know. Title in hand, cash talks, make an offer
Note: I do not want to break up the package at this time. I’d rather sell to someone who will love and use this car as I have before I start considering selling things separately like the hardtop. No lowball offers please.
