  • [Wanted] NA misc parts

Looking to buy the following for my 1994:
-gauge cluster hood - no cracks
-tan leather seats - needs to be in good shape with no rips or tears - may be a far stretch but going to ask anyhow
-a tan soft top on frame - must be in good shape - no rips or tears - might consider a good deal on a black top as well
-pop-in steering column cover- the piece on the top that pops in (in between the steering wheel and gauge cluster)

Let me know if you have any of these parts.

I'm in the NW cobb county area. Work in Kennesaw and live in Acworth.

I have the gauge cluster from a '92, disassembled.

Which hardtop latches do you need? Front or side? Popping front latches may be a mix of parts. The later front latches don't like to work with the clips from earlier latches and vice versa.

Its both latches right above the driver and passenger heads. I will have to get a picture. Mine do NOT look like these:

Mine are more of a plain metal latch.

That's the OEM latch - do they look like http://ep.yimg.com/ay/gomiata/miata-...90-1997-17.gif or is it a non-oem top?

No, it doesn't look like that either. I will get a pic tonight. Not sure if the top is OEM or not. It does have the rear defroster.

I have a very clean set of stock daisies with one year old Yokohama S.Drive's, 185-55/14 and less than 5,000 miles. Still have great tread. Balanced at Gran Turismo East. Live in East Cobb. Send me a PM if you're interested, thanks.

May not exactly fix your problem with the latches but I had a similar problem with mine. I put some sticky felt tape into where the notch goes on the striker plate. Thats the ghetto fix but it worked. To truly fix it you can get the little latch tab replacements from flyinmiata for like $3 each. When I next order something from them ill get those thrown in too but not paying shipping for $3 parts

Turns out it's a Snug top, not OEM. I made the current latches work better by bending the metal clips a hair more to give them a bit more bite.

I have a good tan leather passenger seat... needs a good cleaning but otherwise I believe it's in pretty nice shape. I think they can be reversed with effort, maybe by swapping the bottom plate and hardware. Come get it out of my garage in Lawrenceville.

Sending you a PM. Though I will say the passenger seat won't swap over to the driver's seats. The seats aren't identical from what I've heard.
