can someone tell me how this works and cost? I have zero experience on a track, but have always been curious.

        Everything you need to know:

Jzilla Track Days is Atlanta's premier HPDE and track day host.

In short, you'll need a car to drive that is on good working condition, you'll either need to buy, rent, or borrow a helmet, and the cost is usually $250-300 depending on which event and when you sign up (James often offers discounts for signing up early).

Be forewarned that track days are a ton of fun and addictive. And JZilla days are the best in the business - we'll run and a great group of drivers. Let us know if you have more specific questions.

I'd recommend coming out to Road Atlanta next friday and check it out. No charge to hang out and spectate, or even get a ride from an advanced driver. If it looks like something you want to do then sign up for the AMP event. After that, be prepared to feed the addiction regularly.

Thanks Nick for the info, thinking about hanging on to my summer tires in case I decide to take the plunge for the Oct event when it is a little cooler.

Thanks for the tip. I think this would be the way to go, put my toe in the water so to speak.
