They won't work in your car. They're going to be too big and most likely be too low impedance.

Ben is quite right. Bose speakers are 2 ohm impedance. Normal speakers are 6 to 8 ohms. You need 8 inch speaker openings for these, Of course if your car isn't a Bose car, factory radios are muy cheap, if not free from somebody here.

mine were like 6x8 oval shape. so yea would they fit? or do bose cars have different shaped speaker openings in the doors cuz i know my speakers have a plastic bracket but i cant remember how exactly it all fit together.

Bose has an 8" midrange circular speaker down low, and a 1" tweeter up by the mirror. I have a set of NB tan door panels I could sell ya for $40 that have the speaker mounts for the tweeter, I doubt that the interior door mechanism is any different from one NB to the next.

Midranges mount with 4 screws into the door itself.

I want to know how do the clearwaters sound? I was reading about them the other day and almost bought some. My stock speakers still sound good but I am sure it could be better.

The bose woofer is a .5 ohm speaker. If you drive them with anything but the Bose amps, you may possibly damage the head unit and the speaker.Yes the clearwaters sound very good.

I like the Clearwaters, I like them even better because I got them through an Ebay auction for $100.
