From the way it looks if I get some more payments we will be catered! Boom wick wicky!
pm sent
I may have 10 spots left. But there are a couple of guys from AmOC that have not paid. I haven't been home so I will check the mail on Wednesday
still?
I'm unsure who all in my group has or hasn't paid, I thought they all had as I was only aware of like 4 of them besides myself lol
Can we talk about HPDE insurance? Most of the places I've run into only offer it for set ... more official events, whereas this isn't really so much. Any recommendations on specific places or do we have a run with anyone specific for the event?
I've been out of town, I'll square up the hpde insurance this week. I have Simon Tibett Allen lookabill and Todd Hubay
I have a buddy that might come into town that weekend, can I buy him a slot? He can drive one of my cars.

I'll confirm with him, but I wanted to see if there were openings.

Greetings Jzilla Trackday Entrants,
I have finalized the contract and paid the event in full. I would like to first thank everyone to make this happen, It could not happen without you guys. That being said, I would like to pat everyone on the back as we all worked together to make this happen. Also just to let you know, We have hit the numbers and this event will be catered so food and drinks will be provided. We would not have it any other way at the Jzilla Trackday. This is the Sandals of Track Events. (Is that a good analogy Nick?) The only time you will need to leave the track is for fuel.
Advanced Drivers:
Just like the small trackdays, I would make it as easy and intimate as possible. I would like to ask the 15 or so of you that signed up as advanced to be the new drivers guide. Like we have done in the past, I ask the expert drivers (More than 10 Trackdays/ Wheel to Wheel racers) to help out and instruct the new drivers. If you belong in that group please let me know if it is ok for you to instruct. Since everyone here knows someone, it makes it easier for me so I dont have to invite outsiders as instructors. We have enough drivers here. Please let me know if you can Instruct so I can put you on the list.
I also need volunteers for the tech check, I will have a tech sheet ready for download before the event.
Novice Drivers:
Novice Drivers, I will not have you go out there with out an instructor the first 2 times out. One thing that can be overwhelming is being lost on the track and that can be very dangerous.
Intermediate Drivers:
Please ask to have an instructor on your first time out. Some of you are a little bit more advanced and I can understand that but we can always learn. The instructors are here to share their knowledge for you to be a better driver and help make this event safer.
We are all here to have fun and have and let me remind you that I will not tolerate shennanigans and ******baggery as there will be some really nice cars on the track. IT IS NOT A RACE.
Additional Insurance:
I have purchased the Track insurance. This covers us from the track if someone decides to take out a guardrail, we have it paid for, please do not be that guy. This does NOT cover your car however. I am contacting third party insurance agencies to see if they can insure your car just in case something bad happens.
Helmets:
You must have SA2005 Helmets, no motorcycle helmets. Helmets will be available to rent at $40 per helmet. These are really nice and clean helmets. If you decide that you like what you do and you need a helmet, they will credit the $40 towards your helmet purchase. This is a great deal especially if you are getting into the sport. Discovery Parts rents out the helmets onsite and I will arrange enough helmets for this event. Their price is on par with others on the net and they have really good inventory.
Convertibles:
Only if you have a Rollbar or a PopUp Roll bar and you must drive with the top up. You may only run street tires if you unless you have a hardtop/rollbar then you may run R-comps or Slicks.
Running off the track:
To limit accidents or ******baggeries, there will be someone on the tower watching the cameras. There are F1 lights on every corner telling you if the track is green, caution or STOP. I will explain more of that during the drivers meeting.
1. If you go off the track the first time, you get a warning, pull in so a tech can check your car for leaks or if anything broke.
2. The second time you go off, you lose your passenger priveledges.
3. Should you embarrass yourself and go off the track a third time, you are done for the day.
I have to enforce these rules as you all have very nice cars. I think this is fair, if you have an idea to make this rule better, by all means contact me.
That is all for now as I do not want to overwhelm you. Please be on the look out for updates. There are also a couple of shops that can help you prep your car and they can offer specials on brakes/bleads and inspect your car to make sure it is safe. These shops specializes on Mazdas, BMWs, Ferraris, Porsches, etc. I got you covered, they will give a special for this event.

Me too! Me too! Nick didn't really want to run his own car anyway.
James, it's been a pleasure to join your track day. You really do host the "Sandals" of track days!
I've never done a Chin Trackday or any other ones so I don't know how they do updates, I just do mine like how I handle my work as far as updates.
Correction, I have been notified that You do not have to leave the track for fuel, They have from 87 to RACE fuel available onsite.

Just kidding - I'm not buying this. It's too far away. If it was in Atlanta I'd be backing my trailer up this guy's garage right about now. Just look at that "cage"!
I'm speachless after that ad. I also have no doubt that you'd own it already if it was in Atlanta.
Holy crap did you really just buy this ? (Great price...) That thing looks insane ? Do you more details? Is there a build log ?!?!
Maybe it has the "pop" up bar to enforce it. Therefore "legal" for the Jzilla trackday
