Ok, now that YouTube's done garbling my video (their encoding, I swear... I can count blades of grass in the video I upload, and YT just shreds it):

I shaved over 3 seconds off of my previous best, and took about 2.8 seconds out of the previous class record.

And for fun, the hairiest damn run I've ever made up the hill. Significant Pucker Factor when the road simply disappears. Seriously, you can see me wiping my visor at the top because I think it must be the mist or it fogging up.

Still not sure how you have found the time you have, to do all the race and fab work with your twins. You guys give me hope as my little ones get older I can wedge out a little more time for race events.
Man, it's either I do this, or I go absolutely insane. The kids are great (...sometimes), but you've GOTTA have an outlet. I don't understand people who have a passion for something and then quit doing it as soon as they have kids. At the absolutely worst case, it sets an example that if there's a thing you want to do, with enough work, you can do it. Best case, you get them addicted to the same thing you are. For some it's meth, for me it's f**kin' around with cars

David, maybe you want to make a quick buck on that flip? Looks like a fun track car once it's gutted.

Stephen, you know I love your setup with the garage, but man, those cars look that good. So so good.
Hey, who did your window tint on the Miata.

I expect the PRHT is not the best start for a track car. It's on the rack at the bodyshop, maybe done there tomorrow. Core support, f. cover and bags. Pretty light work.

Thanks so much! It was actually tinted when I got it. Sorry!

Dempsey, the cars look great. I'm envious of your 3-car garage! You have a ton of space in there!

Oh thanks, there is a lot of room in the garage for sure.
It's a DSG, for a daily driver, I think its the best transmission. Aww, I have a Miata if I want some top down action. Otherwise, I really don't miss the sunroof that I had when I had the R32. I can't say not having a sunroof was a deal breaker for me. Sometime you can take mine for a real good drive (vs a test drive) and see if you miss it too much :P

My 03 NB. I bought it about 6 months ago as a second car to play with. It came with no-name coilovers (the RSpeed guys couldn't tell what they are but said they are doing the job), duct tape on the top and a slipping clutch

Only has 73k miles now. I replaced the clutch and changed the timing belt and water pump. It runs great and is a blast to drive. I was always into muscle cars (and still have a quasi-muscle car as my DD) and I never understood the fun a lightweight sports car was to drive until I bought the Miata. I some ways, it's more fun to drive than my DD with >500 HP.

Finally have my 1st set of homebrew setup / scale pads completed. They just need a good cleanup and some paint, and to finish the removable wheel stops. After that, it'll be time to set these up (level & square) and finally have a really good surface for setting up cars.

I'm SUPER stoked to have these in the shop.
