A few years back I bought a pair of Corbeau Forzas on eBay that came with a set of slider brackets. IIRC they were supposed to be for a 2G Honda CRX, however after a bit of research they do not appear to fit that model.

Any creative ideas on how to identify these brackets and which car they fit? Also, do these look like pre-fabbed brackets from Corbeau or are these universal sliders with seat rails welded on? The welds aren't very pretty, leading me to think the latter.

Are these worth anything to anyone? Or should I just throw them in the trash?

I picked up the passenger corbeau seat from iamdallas (thanks again) now I've got to make a decision on a drivers seat. I'm a 32in waist and a short guy at around 5'7". I've been eyeing the replica brides seats that batlground in Smyrna sells. But when I called them about stopping by for a test fit I found out they only stay open till 6, with me getting off a 5 and driving from cumming to the shop isn't going to work. Is there anyone who has the Vios iii or another seat that might fit me for me to sit in and see if I like the fit?

Arduino UNO + Sparkfun/SKPang CAN shield + Adafruit OLED screen. I've seen people do similar - or attempt to - but never posted the code. And I had plenty of obstacles and learning the MCP2515 datasheet. And this is kinda sorta a prototype for whats going into my blank oil pressure gauge location ( https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-8...127_025734.jpg ) But.. yeah.

Now onto populating the rest of the variables and figuring out the best way to attack the menu system, and making the var_offset/var_blk code less hackish.

I finally got around to installing the Hawk HP+ pads I got for the front brakes. I must say that the difference in stopping power is like night and day from the OEM/OEM replacement pads I've used so far. The car finally feels like it has real brakes

I suspect I might experience more rotor wear and brake dust. So far I have not noticed excessive brake dust, but I've only driven a few hundred miles with these pads. However, I can definitely feel them bite into the rotors... I guess it might be the price to pay for effective brakes.

So he offered to trade my raceland coils for his agx shocks with h r springs. I'm almost positive I'm going to do it but I can't find any na's with h r springs to see where the ride height would be. I found one on clubroadster but people weren't sure if it was or not.
What do you guys think?

On Mnet today, caught mini discussion of new brake system under final testing at FM. Basically, FM has designed a street friendly version of the Wilwood BBK for the rear brakes. Up until now, mounting Wilwood four piston calipers in the rear was a track car only thing, as there was no way to keep the stock parking brake. Now the kit is in final testing to allow mounting Wilwood calipers at the rear AND keep parking brake functional.

I'm personally going to swap the four piston Wilwood calipers onto the rear, using FM's new mounting bracket and upgrade my front caliper to six piston. The big advantage to running the Wilwood calipers are 1) they save 3-6 pounds of unsprung weight and 2) they have a huge pad selection to choose from and 3) changing brake pads is about as hard as putting bread in a toaster. Combined with two piece rotors from stock size 1.6 rotors all the way up to 11.75" and you can get fade free braking for your most aggressive mountain run, or track day. While the stock Miata brakes even on the 90-93 are more than adequate at stock power levels, those running SC, turbo charged or V8 Miata's would be wise to upgrade the brakes along with the suspension.

It's very cool to have a car that can accelerate to 60mph in 4 or 5 seconds, but I think it's even cooler to have one that can pull over 1g, or stop from 60mph in less than 120 ft. Or even better 100ft.

I'm buying a turbo setup with a full 3 inch exhaust. Only problem is that it exits out of the driver side instead of the passenger side. I can always go to Enthuza to get it bent and more piping added, but I could also get the bumper cut to accommodate the exhaust. I don't want to cut another exhaust hole and leave the stock one too because I think it wouldn't look good. What are your opinions?

Ive used them for at least 5 years on everything from a 4x4 jeep to convert to 5x114.3, to a twin turbo subaru with 5x100-114.3 adapters, my miata, skyline, 180sx and a host of other cars, on the street and on the track with zero failure other than snapping a stud which was my fault.

Id like to see failures of bolt on spacers (other than stud failure) if anyone has them.
