HID's in reflector housings are a big no-no, especially 10k kelvins.

they have a nice cut-off line really...i've never had any problems with cops or people flashing me either

Agreed on the HIDs in the reflector housing, but to each his own. I've tried it and compared to HID projector housings or even halogen projector housings the cutoff and overall output is not near as good and there's plenty of above-line glare. That's why I'm retrofitting bi-xenon projectors into the stock housings.
