Looks fun, up until he looks over and there is a nice looking thunder head a few miles off.

These people are crazy and dont get paid enough for what they do. *** out in the wind, standing on a swaying tower, no decent tie off?

Not me, man.

I wouldn't want to do it for a living but I'd love to climb one of those. And then have a parachute to get down.

^that- think about how many hours that would cut out of the job if these guys could just do a base jump to get down.

Screw that man. Base jumping is one thing, but no way would I climb that *****, even with a safety harness. Can you imagine on a windy day?! No way!

I worked on a couple high rise buildings years ago and we would occasionally need to climb the tower cranes. They are always swaying back and forth. Even on calm days the wind blows up there.

No I would not do this.

My coworker has a family member who does this, she said they actually get paid very well. She also said they had recently hired a new guy, he made it half way up and wouldn't go any further. Needless to say new guy didn't work there long.

Heights don't make me freak, but those are some serious heights with out tie offs or safety harness. I would at least try it with decent tie offs. Free climbing does take huge balls/no common sense/both.
