92 miata headrest speakers anyone got any clearwaters they dont need, didnt use, found lying on a curb or whatever let me know the price ,im impatient sometimes I love miatamania, but hate shipping time....

I bought Sony speakers at the All-mart...took a lttle fab to make fit but they where way loud.I still have them...but they are not in any condition that is salable,1 set has the domes dented,and the other set is still in the seat.

I bought four Inifity speakers from crutchfield for less than the clearwaters and they fit just as well and require the same effort to install. I just took a hole saw and cut the foam by hand and then stuck them in there. Once you close the cover they fit nice and tight. You can get the infinities at best buy for about the same price. They were like $69 if I remember right.

+1 on the Infinity brand, they are great speakers. Had them in my first Volvo and loved them

I've been to 3 Bestbuys and I have yet to see the infinity brand or anything under 4" .wht size did you guys fit in?

I have a set of four speakers laying around my parents house that where once in the headrests. I can't remember brand but will try to figure out for you. Let me know if your interested.

3.5" speakers are RARE in the number of vehicles they fit into....so a lot shops do not stock them.....I know I dont at my shop.
When I have to, I will usually use the Memphis PR series speakers.

88 thunderbirds have 3.5" as the front speakers. retarded setup.
