So I am working on a rear diffuser, I posted some info on it in my build thread, but to recap:
-Metal (the larke flat piece)
-Ferrari F430 Challenge fins (I add what they are off of so you can see the shape they aren't perfectly triangular)
-Small nub fins like you see on an EVO's roof.
Anyway, the metal goes almost halfway under the car, one of the problems I see is the air above the diffuser that gets trapped, the only way I see getting it out is either A. making a solid flat bottom, or B. slitting the rear bumper right above the exit of the diffuser.
No I am not a pro in aerodynamics, but I have been doing a LOT of research and things, and I love to experiment and try stuff. Attached is a pic describing what I am talking about, and a pic of an F430 fin. Mainly for the F430 fin note it is really smooth and flowing, and travels really far back (towards the front of the car)
