This was on AutoBlog a couple days ago, just found it interesting!

This guy in Canada is making a replica of the Reventon out of a Fiero.
Even though things look a little off, I think it's great when people put their mind to it and create something different. And his attention to detail and craftsmanship actually looks pretty nice!

I never said I would drive it..
I'd like to see you make that in your garage.

Hahaha.

There have actually been a lot of replica cars made out of Fiero's. Lambo's, Ferrari's, etc and they range from pretty good to absolutely horrible. You can actually buy some of the kits. I've seen a couple where they did the exterior and left the interior pretty much as is and it was just awful.

I've even seen a Ferrai replica on a Camaro chassis

That is true. The crap people do to their cars these days. It makes you wonder what side of the bed they wake up on in the morning that tells them that their car looks good.

Don't get me wrong, he's got more fabrication skill in his left pinky fingernail than I do in my whole body (hell, I'm barely off of making bolt in seat brackets), BUT... it's still a fiero. If you've got that kind of talent, why not strip it down and make it into something totally original. Now THAT I'd like to see.

Oh I agree! It has to have cost a lot of money to do all that. So why not spend a little more on a little nicer car?

Jack's British, he doesn't know what America's budget attempt at mid engine looks like. Lol.

That's some damn impressive fabrication skills. It'd actually be kind of cool looking if he left it all stainless steel like the DeLorean.

Jack was better off not knowing what it looked like. ;)

It looks pretty good, but is it stretched? I'm not a fan of the way the Reventon looks personally anyways, but crazy skills!

HAHAHAHAHAHA I was waiting to see if anyone caught that. SPEEDY! Honestly I think either my protege or the Miata could take it in a drag race... and both are sub 115 whp cars (I know, sadness)

i still give the guy his due for atleast trying to make something of it. cars are a great way of expressing yourself and even if its tacty as hell in some cases atleast they are trying to make there car apeal more to them if to no one else. dont get me wrong i see people pull up all the time in cars that i think why oh why did they do that but they still put there time and money into it. besides as crazy as it sounds there is a bunch of car guys out there that think we are the crazy ones because we mostly ir not only spend money for our cars to go perform.

I know many 170hp Hondas that run low 12's all day. :)
