GVfanatic's Future LLT Build Thread!!! me so excite!

For those who dont know i have plans for doing an untypical V6 swap, and the 6 i chose is the one that powers the base model 2010 Camaro and Cadillac CTS. Its the 3.6L LLT. Not sure what the engine will make but in the camaro it makes 255 wheel hp and 231ftlbs of torque which is a great start for me in a miata, but even more awesome to me is that with that hp i'll be gettin better gas mileage than the factory 1.8 in the mx5 and i only have to run it on 87 octane. of course when i get to the point where i want more donkey power there are some nice bolt ons as well as a Centrifugal SC built for it by Lingenfelter.

I already know i'll be adding the Corsa Performance mufflers for it. sounds like a sweet VQ to me.

It's a cool idea but I hate camaros! Haha Do you have a miata yet?

I think it is a cool idea - doing an LS swap is the "easy answer", but this would be something a little different that would definitely set your car apart. I think the hard part will be fabbing up a subframe and/or engine mounts.
