Ok I was skeptical on whether or not to post about these things cause their so common in builds but after being told how people blow up there new motors cause they arn't done right I decided to throw them out there...Double checking and making sure i have it right with yall lol
1. Installing my boost controller. One end of the hose goes to the wastegate and the other goes to the intake manifold on the stem that points to the firewall With a "T" fitting so I can hook the boost guage hose to the other side. If this is right what is the little "T" fittblock with the arrow on it for?? (Does it make it so I dont have to buy a "T" fitting for the Manifold?)
2. I got rid of that Evap canister thing and now there's one hard line sticking up. Do I just cap this?
3. Last is my oil pressure guage I have an auto meter one. Do I have to use the sandwhich plate which was bought seperatly or can I just splice into my stock one since it's true pressure? (regulary wouldnt need this but I swapped to the 01 dash and interior including cluster)

Thank ya'll for your help. I have pictures attached of all the above stuff.
Sorry for asking so many questions but This forum is all I have as an info source I'm new to turboing "Obviously" lol

#2 - my evap canister is gone too (was removed by previous owner). The hardline is still there and isn't capped, although a few folks have pointed out that it might be a good idea to put a cap on there.

#3) Did your autometer gauge come with a sensor? If so you'll need to mount that somewhere - I would recommend a sandwich plate adapter.

Don't cap that evap line, that's how fuel fumes vent from the tank. I capped mine once, and when opening the fuel filler I would hear this strange popping sound... Turns out the sound was the walls of the tank popping like a soda can, there is a ton of pressure there. Best thing to do, IMO is remove the line, re-locatethe canister under the car do deal with the smell and run the vent line to it.

k lol maybe just slap one of those autozone filters on there so it can vent and not have stuff get into it ?

1) I have always run two lines. One for the wastegate and one for the boost gauge.
Reason for this is, that I normally just my wastegate off the turbo output. My reasons behind this is if a leak happens, it harder to overspool the turbo. Running your intake manifold works and is a personally opinion.

The reason for running the boost gauge on its own line is so that I get a true reading and nothing able to mess up the reading. Such as if your boost control leaks, or the line melts, or something else happens. Again person opinion.

Looking at your photos, and based on your first style.

Intake manifold---"T"<---boost gauge
................................... ----boost control----wastegate
