I have a NA trans for a NB car, which miata.net says is interchangeable, do you think the clutch would work the same way?

Yeah, the clutches are the same for the 94-05. Smaller for the 90-93, which is good if you're staying naturally aspirated. Less rotating weight. :D

The clutch for a 1.6 and for a 1.8 are different. Not sure if for a Na 1,8 and Nb 1.8 are different but since that clutch is for a 1.6 you would have to switch to a 1.6 flywheel.
