Some of you may have noticed that I've not been on as much as usual recently but don't worry I'm not abandoning you all my lovelies; I just started working this week and the hours have been pretty intense so far.
I managed to score an experimental digital media researcher position at CNN. Pretty cool number so far and it should evolve into something quite exciting over the next few weeks. It's only free lance but hopefully it should turn into a permanent position. It's a mix of news gathering and being an internet boffin, so it's a dream job for me to get started with.
Just thought I'd let everyone know.

I've had a couple of friends that worked for CNN/Turner - And I'll letya know it sorta sucks.
Hell, I used to sort email for CNN. Literally. Click-Drag over a VPN into an outlook folder.
There was a regime change/shakeup about 2 years ago and they managed to fire anyone that had half a clue..

I don't know if I've felt that way so far. I've been to a few meetings and been pretty impressed with the level of intellect I'm surrounded with for the first time in a long time. :dunno:

CNN Center baby

If I'm not mistaken the guy that runs 240atlanta also works in the CNN building... Coincidence? I think not.

It seems that way, I still have a room and a bed in Athens with the lease waiting to expire.... :naughty:
Currently living at home trying to build up some financial standing and a long term contract before tying myself into any lease agreements for housing.

:vin: they're onto me...
