i got these a few days ago, and installed them, they were on sale for a great deal of 109 bucks, so i got a set. installed them over the weekend, a 30 minute 4 bolt and nut install, with a GREAT outcome, and definitely stiffer chassis. another good thing about them, is that they are made on a low profile basis, so pesky speed bumps cant rip them off! :D

heres a shot of the set of two braces.

my opinion- worth it. great handling after wards.

I was looking at these as well. Going to snag a set after the car is back together, I just don't have the money to get them right now along with everything else I actually need. I REALLY want them though... hopefully Emilio still has a set when that time comes.

yeah i would definitely recommend these, they are very well crafted pieces. and they make a world of difference in the corners.

and yes! VERY WELL PRICED!

and i havent used the FM brace, so i wouldnt know. im sure someone who has will chime in soon

Bryan, are you referring to the Cannon brace? That only fits 90-93 and 99-05. Not the 94-97.

The 949 (actually Brainstorm Performance) piece fits all.

Yes that would be the one I am talking about.

The reason I wonder which is better is the Cannon brace is a solid plate that bolt in at four different places on the rear sub frame where the 949 style only attaches at two places.

Kinda a mute point for the 94-97 but since I got a 91, something for myself and other 1.6s to wonder about.

I can't remember who sells it, but someone has a chassis brace that winds up bolting to both rails AND the transmission, tying everything together and preventing the engine/trans assembly from moving. "Notice: This brace will cause significant vibrations"

Anything that warns about vibrations, noise, not street legal, race only, etc is ALWAYS a plus
