That is an MS1 V3.0, definitely not one we built in house. Looks like someone started to set it up for a Miata and didn't finish the job. The small circuit board is a MS2 daughter card. No idea on the origin of the harness.

The best thing about this is that I bought my car from an electrical engineer and he gave this to me with the car. (Wonton got the MS from me) Don't they learn how to solder?

i dont doubt the skills of the guy :D

i just need to find out if im missing any small components and i need to pick up a soldering iron and stuff so i can start working on it!

Well, the trouble with us inspecting a board is that we aren't set up to catch everything that might be wrong on a customer assembled board - a lot of them have circuits we don't have a good means of evaluating.

do you have instruction manuals for them?

All the directions are online instead of a printed manual. Let me know if you want to use the MS1 or MS2 and I'll get you pointed in the right direction.

It'll need mods - see this link.
