I've seen on some other vB sites that clicking on the popup image advances to the next image rather than placing it in the current thread window at full size (in place of the thread!), so you then have to hit "back" to return to the thread and then hit the next thumbnail. That'd be nice to have here.

Bah! We don't like ideas for change around here!

That's a newer option for vB, I'm not sure if it's compatible with our version, but it would be nice to have. Even seen some that have Previous and Next buttons at the bottom of the image.

Yeah...so when are we going to upgrade to VB4.0??

When they get their security issues and bugs fixed better than they are now. In the admin panel we get updated information about new releases and patches, 4.0 hasn't seemed like a good idea yet. Plus considering the features we currently use compared with what 4.0 has, there really wouldn't be a visible difference here.

I fall victim to doing the key equivalent to close all the time with the attachment popup- which of course closing the thread window AND the popped up image. :doh:
