My first miata not my first mazda

Hey everybody just picked up my first miata the other night, a 1999 10th anniversary edition. Car was pretty well put together from the previous owner but i still have some things i am going to do to it.

This is not my first mazda though i have owned a mazdaspeed protege and a 1990 rx7 vert before this, my g/f has owned multiple mazdas and even worked parts for mazda for about 12yrs (we both work for toyota now i am a tech and she does body shop parts) her current ride is a 2003 protege5. Ohh and i have a DSM in the garage awaiting an engine transplant but what else is new with a DSM.

Welcome! I too had an MSP at one time... never got use to FWD so it had to go, lol.

thanks...i see by your sig you do auto-x and know amaff...or muff as i refer to him probably know kevin boswell too. I used to auto-x the msp way back when just for kicks and will be bringing the miata out this season a couple times

that MSP is the almost the same color as my old eclipse...the day i bought it a couple years ago, sold it a month later lol didnt like the wing but whatev. stupid ricer!

thanks for all the comments on the msp, miss that car for the most part, the trans **** the bed and i couldnt get it rebuilt correctly so i gave up and sold it, next owner wrecked it 2 months later and sold it for parts

yeah i will be there muff owes me a calender and i gotta drop a flywheel off to my buddy that works for comp clutch

for now making some payments on it lol

Also going to find a lip for it, put some real tires on it, some real brake pads, general maint., and maybe some coilovers. Pretty much everything else is already done for me which is nice for a change

yeah and oddly i know you yet you probably dont know me. You g/f is on mazdas247, i met you once at drift atlanta i was in rhyne's old black civic hatch, and i see your car occasionally on savoy rd since i work at world toyota.
