April 24th, HPmotors/Dread Nought grand opening

Well we have a lot done and a lot left to do, but it's finally time to announce our grand opening.

We plan to have a modest gathering of cars from different clubs for a casual meet and greet with some free bar-b-que. The whole shindig will go from 10 or 11 in the morning until around 5 or 6 that evening. The food will go from 12-3 or when we run out.:D

I realize it's quite a drive for some of you folks, but if you're curious to take a look at the business and meet some other car people feel free to make the drive up. We'd love to see Atlanta represent the Miata community in force.

The idea is to give out door prizes for the fastest times set at certain tracks, with certain cars. It might be fun.:dunno:

I didn't want to just give prizes away, so now people can have fun earning them.

Free bar-b-que, local car clubs, and Forza 3. You guys know you wanna make the drive!:p

The day has been fairly good, even with the rain. Most people have headed home by now.

Eric and I are kicking around the idea of a tech day some time in the summer. My thoughts are maybe something on the dark art of suspension set-up. We'll see.
