I bought my tickets today for "Experience Hendrix" at the Fox next Saturday. A large group of first class guitar players will be there to play their version of Hendrix' music. I have been a fan since I was 13 years old, way back in '67. I saw him play at the second Atlanta Pop Festival in '70, held in Byron, when I was 16. I still kick myself for not going up to the stage and watching close up. How could I know that it was one of the last concerts he would ever play? When you are that age you think everyone will live forever.
