Well i get to work and find out a 4500 truck has to go to the auction and I get the pleasure of taking it. Figured i would post some pictures because this thing looked crazy big on my truck. To honest it "fit" on the truck but didnt leave much room the rear wheels where pined between the bed rails and the front tires had less than a 1/4" between them and the rails.

Well i would have been more comfortable the 4500 has 12 way adjustable air ride seats. My truck only has 4 way adjustable seats, but my truck has twice the torque of the 4500.

It will haul a Miata fairly well. ;)

Yeah if you should know. It also hauls my miata home when it breaks down or when i want to work on it. I use the wheel lift to lift the front end of the car up whenever i work on it and dont need to take the tires off. Much easier and safer than jack stands, just drive up on the wheel lift and pull a lever and its up. atleast one end of the car. Whenever i get around to ordering the FM subframe brace i am going to use my truck and one at the shop and drive up on my truck then back up to the other one and drive the car back so the rear wheels are on one truck and the fronts are on the other. That will give me tons of room to work under the car and have the car level on all wheels.

Well if it weighs more than 10,000lbs or is wider than the bed your right. Otherwise i would try it.
