OK, I'm wide open for suggestions, constructive criticism, and plain ole opinions on this setup. I've got a 97. It's my daily driver and I'll track it 4 or 5 times this year. Just installed 15" Rota GT-3's w/ Yokahama Advan's 205/50/15. Looking at installing Bilstein HD's, FCM bumpstops, and FM springs, along with an alignment by Jeff @ Gran Turismo East.

The best deal going seems to be used Tein Flexes - depending on condition, you can usually find them for about $1000. They are a very capable track coilover that is also comfortable enough for the street.

Sounds good, for my NA I am gonig to get NB OEM bilsteins paired with Ground Control coilover sleeves and Eibach pro lowering springs, and then have the Bilsteins revalved to match the spring rates of the springs, some aftermarket boots, bump stops and shock mounts. All poly bushings on NB control arms (better suspension geometry), engine mounts, and differential mounts, Some some sway bars. I imagine it to be a comfortable DD ride but aggressive at the same time.

Tein basics go as low as $850.

My Megan's came with pillowball mounts for the front and the rear and are also 32 way adjustable. I know the Tein Basics and I believe the SS models don't come with the pillowball mounts, which is why I decided not to go with those.

I think bilsteins wrapped with good coilovers is near the best setup and excellent bang for the buck. Send the shocks to stuart development, tell him your springs rates and desired use and he will give you the right shock valving. Bi;steins are very high quality durable shocks.
