http://www.clear.com/coverage - note that some areas are now covered, PM me your address and I can check it for you. Also, if you want you can give your email address and a notice will be sent when it is available in your area.
For Home 3 Megs - $30 a month
For Home 6 Megs - $45 a month
Casey- Ive seen it "boost" to 15 megs
Promos are for the bundled deal with a 2 year contract.
One home modem and 1 USB modem for the road - $55 for six months. $65 after that.
There is no TV on it. But if you do not watch sports, there is always HULU so you can watch your favorite show the next day.
Fellas, thanks for the interest.

Wow that's fast. I could save some cash over comcast, but how consistant is the bandwidth? I don't have satillite or cable TV, So I have a home theater PC and do a lot of hulu and netflix streaming, would it handle that well? Is there a limit to how many devices I can have on my network? I've got up to 7 devices that are connected now.

I only use mine when I am in Roswell or Buckhead and I consistently get 3 megs and up.
Handles Netflix fine.
You can connect a router to the Clear Modem.

I believe Netflix needs 6mbps down for HD content. It being portable is nice.

well it will take M'ville some time to get over that reputation - now that the state has dropped funding for 90% of the mental wards and clinics there... (that have now shut down) There is still the college which I imagine is not even half the size of UGA left... other industries are leaving that town too.
Speaking of which, I wonder what the status of the Kumho plant down here - time to google it for news...

I read somewhere you can bring up a google-maps page with the location of the Clear towers on it. Do you have a link for that? I wasn't able to find it on their site.
