You and Steve should come to the Santarun event @ TGP , if not to run, then to just check it out and watch. I'll be running for time.

Hey... how early in the morning do they do the tech thing at that dealership? Since we aren't starting until 11am this Saturday, maybe we can go ahead and get that out of the way???

edit.... crap... we should make a Santa Run thread because I just realized we went way off topic in stickied thread

Looks like an awful lot of drivers for that track. Track time will be fairly limited with that many drivers I would think.

I see Chuck 904 in there. That may be Chuck Beck in his 904 replica which a really great car. Chuck is a character as well.

I think registration is already full, but there is a carshow and just the coolness of watching a plethora of different cars running on the track as well as the cool stuff that will be there t oshow off. Not to mention all the proceeds go to a good cause. I will be there running for time :)

I tried to ask off to come to this, but they already made the schedule!
I'll try to get someone to pick up my shift. I want to watch!

 I'ld be game for that too. If there's a bunch of us going it might be worth it to car pool and split the drive. Having said that, I don't know how long the drive is anyway, might not even be necessary.

It's about an hour and a half for us... if that. It's not really that far.

If anyone is interested in getting the drive out of the way the night before, Jenn and I are staying at the Hampton Inn and rooms are ~$80 for the night before the event.

So who all is going?

Let me talk to LB and see what she wants to do. I know we'll be there for sure.

Correction... we're at the same Comfort Suites as last time. Not a bad hote, really comfy beds. The HI's rates went up over the weekend. I knew I should have booked before we left.
