What coilover setup are you guys running and how do you like for street driving? Anyone running the PSS9's? Thanks

I have JIC Magic FLT-TAR's on mine. I absolutely love them. The ride is decently stiff. I'd highly recommend them.

Yes, I'm running the Bilstien PSS9's. I got them off an ebay vendor, who was probably a pawn shop, so I would not try and repeat the price $750 shipped. The setup is very compliant on Atlanta's potholes and RR tracks, yet it offers nearly roll free cornering, the shocks are adjustable for rebound, but I haven't fiddled with them, they are set at a medium setting. I went ahead and dropped the ride about 1 1/2" initially and there was very little sag or drop after mounting, just one fine tune after initial set up. I have not yet corner weighted.

Tein Flex. Struggled to pay full price but haven't looked back since the install. I didn't know the cars could handle so much better than they do stock.

This is the only aftermarket suspension I've installed. There are a ton of options. I knew I didn't want to put all the money down for Ohlins but didn't wanted to make sure this was only a one time upgrade as well.

If you decide to go with Mat Redd's recommendation, I have a set of Tein Flexes that will fit an NB that will be up for sale soon.

Nick you madman, what are you doing with Flex? I thought you went from AGX to JIC on the NA. What's up with the NB?

I've ran the Koni's from a street car up to a track car and they still do great. Very liveable, inexpensive, and easily revalveable. Running the Tein monoflexes on the race car and they're very nice, but nearly twice the price. A good quality set of use coilovers is a great buy. Nearly all of the major brands now have US rebuild centers so you can easily send them in to be rebuilt and essentially have brand new coilovers should they ever fail.

I had Flex on my 240, and it handled well, but it was very stiff.

Nicks setup is probably a good option, also there is a set of the Koni/ground control coilovers on Miata.net classifieds, that setup is still considered very competitive in local autocross.

I'm running Ohlins DFV customs. They're awesome, but that's to be expected. Using 12l/8k springs. Ride can be bumpy, but it has a 'settled' feeling to it, not like a brain-jarring bumpy ride... it's really hard to explain...but it works.

For what Ohlins cost they better work!
