Secret Santa! Participants, Read Now!!!

Welcome to Secret Santa!
In this project, you will be assigned a random forum member to buy a Christmas gift for, while you will be assigned to another member for them to buy something for you.
Your agreement to participate is not something to be taken lightly. Someone will be buying something for you, so don't leave someone out by not getting them something. The price minimum is $20, but you can exceed that amount if you'd like to.

Please simply reply if you are interested in participating. I will then take the participants, assign them a random number, and make a new thread with just the numbers. Everyone that is participating will then choose a number and will be privately told who they have received. You will not be allowed to choose yourself of course. Then you'll have until the deadline to figure out the gift, wrap it, and mark it with the recipient's name only. You can reveal yourself to your recipient if you'd like, but only after they have received your gift.

That's all there is to it.

Please only reply if you are "In" in this thread. No discussions as I will delete your post after I have added you to the master list.

We have 7 people so far. Anyone else want to participate? If we're going to do this, the cutoff date for signing up is going to have to be sometime this week or weekend.

Since we only have 7, I am going not going to participate this year so we have an even number for swaps, however, I will still come to the gift swap since it's going to be a meet as well.

So, everyone pick one of the following numbers. When you do, I will send you a PM with the person that number represents, and I will put your name next to the number you chose so no one else can choose it. We have to do this fast since the meet is next Saturday, so be sure to pick ASAP.

OK, all of the numbers have been assigned.
Now what you have to do (and as soon as possible) is post up in the Gift Ideas thread in this Serious Discussions section with something in the $20ish range that will help someone shop for a secret gift for you. Be sure to post shirt sizes, t-shirts are a common gift, I don't know why.

I agree with Eric. I'm having to order the item online and I'm afraid it won't make it here before Saturday unless I want to pay double of what the item cost just to have it shipped 3-day air. :(
