A few friends and I are going to Andretti's tonight as Monday is 21 and up and also 1/2 price ($10/race)!!!

1/2 price starts at 10 p.m. but I recommend getting there early in order to reserve your races as they fill up quick! We plan to get down there at 9:30ish.

Sawyer and I were talking about going ITB's this past weekend. They just wouldn't run worth the crap in GA due to how much the atmospheric pressure varies. One day it will run great, the next day, the damn thing might not start...

....but I'd still run them :D

Taylor (from RSpeed) has them in his green car, I'm sure you remember seeing them. With the MS he doesn't seem to have issues with them anymore.

There are few people who run them in GA with out much issues that I know of. If I had a second miata I wouldn't mind having an ITB car but it would have to be gutted to hell and back and with a shaved head. Otherwise what is the point.

Well, I would love to meet you guys but I already have plans. FOILED! Nevertheless, you can always do "buy one, get one free" races by going to Valpak.com Search the zip code up there or somewhere around (I usually use mine, 30338) and click the Entertainment tab. You'll see the coupon. It is usually the first one on the list. Print it and bring it in. We've used it at least 1/2 dozen times. Brilliant!

Two races for $10? Now THAT would be a steal. Well, I was there last week and, while the karts always change in terms of performance, I was doing really well in #7. It was, by far, the fastest that night.

We went to subway Sat night for dinner b/c Deb had a BOGO coupon. Plus it was an excuse to drive the blue car. She tried to argue with the cashier that they should be $5 for the 2 sandwiches due to the $5 footlong special. I told her before we even left the house that it wouldn't fly, and of course it didn't.

had it been a few years ago and I still worked at that subway(guessing the one right by the publix) it would have worked. Now they are getting watched move cause the food cost went through the roof. (to many people stealing food)

man, that's sad to have 2 different publix shopping centers, each with its own subway, within 2.5 miles in 2 different directions. There's also the subway at the Kroger which is 2.75 miles in a 3rd direction. However, honorable mention goes to the one 4 miles away further down Fence at Dacula Hwy (?) which is also next to a publix. Geez. That one often charges me $5 for a fancy footlong. And I always tip them. ;)

What is sad, is that a little over 10 years ago there was only two gas stations off the exit and the nearest store was 20-30 drive and now look at it.

It was fun. I have to admit that while having slow carts sucked, I did get to leisurely drive the track and relearn it (while watching everyone lap me multiple times, lol). By the time the last run came up and I got a faster cart, I got hit by the overweight *** who finally spun me around. Just couldn't win.
Next time we need a group of 10 so the track is just us and no one we don't know. :) Although I'm not exactly up for making this a monthly thing, unless we drive less races, but that's not fun.

I still think you should have said something about the crappy carts. It seems like the more I go, the more the carts are destroyed and less fun to drive (although it was still fun last night).

Bryan, we'll have to go at it again with less idiots on the track holding each other up. 0.04 of a sec is a very close race and I bet we could close the gap even more. :)

I completely agree with this. When we went last week, the #7 was bad@ss. My buddies had cars, 2 different ones each, that sucked. I wish they would tune them the same. We were the only 3 people on the track, which was cool. In the middle of the race, the guy stopped one of my buddies and "turned up the volume" so his would go faster. It did, but still not like the # 7.

Did you guys check the top times for the month on the site? Are you listed in the top 100?

True, they probably don't care. Chris (Oblio on here) and I went once and his car was so slow that I lapped him like 3 times. We told the manager and each ended up with free races the next time we came in. So, while they may not care, they will apparently respond if you speak up.

I think if you talk to track workers and tell them your part of one of these xatlanta.com forums or autocross they actually adjust the throttle cables for you so you can have a faster kart. I think one of the guys is a member of wrxatlanta.

We may have to try that. The guys work seems to not care, as we never asked for karts we knew won't damage and they didn't care.

yea I was thinking the same thing. Also with them timing everyone and trying to push for people to run better times that each cart would be in the same shape so someone isn't shorted by getting a bad cart, like you did.
