Quick explanation: LFG buys booth in advance, finds someone else in their booth, staff tell LFG they were reassigned, LFG is angry, staff tells them to take it or shove it, LFG talks to higher-up, gets refunded for booth space and is allowed to stay in replacement booth, all seems well.

Fast forward a few weeks, LFG finds out they were banned from the con for the incident, are incredulous.

Just another instance of the staff being complete ******s and ruining the con for normal folk. It's so commonplace now that most people hardly even notice it.

I dont understand dragoncon, different strokes for different folks I guess. I can say that I drove by it one year when I was in the city, and got stuck at the crosswalk for it. I was the first car, and litterally had to sit there for about 15 minutes starring at every dressed up villan/fairy/dwarf/good guy/storm trooper freak walk in front of me. However, when watching all of these people walk by me, My self esteem shot up like crazy, and I have never been able to reach that high again. I felt so damn good about myself that night.

I went and I'll post pictures of the road warrior crew including my car and a badass custom ratrod complete with people tied to the front and myself blaring dirty dubstep music and in costume it was amazing! This car will live forever even if it's in memory... Easily over 2000 pictures taken by spectators!

It's fun to just BE a kid again dress up act goofy and hang out with hot gogo girls and have a blast.

That's like us liking cars, some people it's a hobby. Support individuality, because otherwise we all become sheep in a heard of "normal" and I never want to be normal even if I have to hide it.

I'm here to do what I enjoy and that's live life and never regret a thing.

These folks aren't hurting anyone, the con is good for the local economy, and Beast's ego. It's a win-win-win. My wife was going to take our some what white-n-nerdy 12 year old, to the parade at least but broke her foot. There's always next year...
